Earthlings is a 2005 movie about humanity’s use of animals as pets, food, clothing, entertainment, and for scientific research. The film is narrated by Joaquin Phoenix, features music by Moby, was directed by Shaun Monson, and was co-produced by Maggie Q, all of whom are practicing vegans.
Synopsis: Covering pet stores, puppy mills and animal shelters, as well as factory farms, the leather and fur trades, sports and entertainment industries, and finally the medical and scientific profession, Earthlings includes footage obtained through the use of hidden cameras to chronicle the day-to-day practices of some of the largest industries in the world, all of which rely on animals. It draws parallels between racism, sexism, and speciesism. from: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Earthlings_(film)

The Most Disturbing Film I’ve Ever Seen – And Why You Should Watch It
But this is no horror movie. Earthlings is real. http://www.nomeatathlete.com/earthlings/
It is one that is perhaps the hardest to watch, and at the same time, it is the one that needs to be watched the most – by everyone. Read more ? http://www.evolvingwellness.com/essay/movie-review-earthlings
This documentary has affected me. I am torn between telling people to watch Earthlings because it’s important for them to know this stuff, and telling people not to watch it because it is genuinely disturbing. I closed my eyes during many scenes in the movies and I wish I had closed them more because I am haunted by the images I saw.- I FORGOT to copy link to this review, I believe I got it from Dads Blog.
“Earthlings” is a documentary on what animals suffer through everyday, all around the world so that we may consume them ( I am not a vegetarian) wear them, entertain ourselves and so on. I have not watched the full documentary yet as I am watching it with my boyfriend and his family when I get home from work. I have however, have seen the trailers as well as deleted scenes. I have been sharing this documentary EVERYWHERE I possibly can because I think this is (as hard as it is to watch) something that every human being on this planet should see. The deleted scenes that I watched on Utube turned my stomach and brought me to tears, not a few tears either..I have cried my heart out for the pain and suffering of these animals. You may wonder “why the hell anyone would watch something so horrible” and my response would be that ” I watched it for the animals” They have no voice and no choices in life”. I watched this documentary because I eat meat, I wear make-up, I have watched rodeo, I have most sureIy used products that were tested on animals, I drink milk and eat eggs. I felt like it was my duty to watch this film no matter how gruesome or upset it made me feel. ( I realize I have not seen the whole film yet, but I have watched over an hour of deleted scenes, as I mentioned). I could have watched the whole film as it is available for FREE in quite a few places on the net but I wanted to make sure others watch it so, I have made it a family thing. I wish I had the ability to reach more people and share this film with them, I am doing what I can. PLEASE watch this film… PLEASE share this film with others.
Here is the website/store for earthlings www.earthlings.com Like I said, it is available for free but I decided to pay for it as well as grab a few bumper stickers for my truck.
Review by Kerri Milam
The beginning and ending are so beautiful and inspiring – with the intervening parts so heartrending and shaming – but each in its own way should confirm and renew our commitment to the animals. Read more? http://www.animalliberationfront.com/MediaCenter/Earthlings-review.htm
Earthlings has caused many problems in our world. (Maybe one day, such movies will generally be banned, like it is the case already with other sorts of deception.) An “antivegan” answer to it was long overdue.
Now I found the time. Here it is.

We love animals, plants and other dwellers on the planet. At least most of us do. It is undeniable that we also love to own cute pets, consume supersized burgers, wear fancy fox-fur coats made out of animal fur, and go to the zoo with our boyfriends and girlfriends. We are all happy with what we love, perhaps only before we watch the film “Earthlings”. Earthlings is a painful movie directed by Shaun Monson about the process of how all these beloved things come to human beings. It divides human’s action on other Earthlings into five different categories: Read more: http://seungin-yoo.blogspot.ca/2012/11/a-biased-attorney-for-humansearthlings.html#!/2012/11/a-biased-attorney-for-humansearthlings.html
